Media Award for “Barriere:Zonen”
Till Mayer won the Coburg Media Award 2015 (“Coburger Medienpreis 2015”) for his cross-media exhibition project “Barierre:Zonen”. The Coburg Media Club (“Medienclub Coburg”) has awarded this price for the fifth time in the categories of “young talent”, “creation” and “breaking waves”. More than 100 projects applied for the award – journalistic projects from the entire German-speaking area but also some projects from the creative industries sector. The awards are endowed with a total amount of 3750 Euro. For Till Mayer, it was already the third time to win the Coburg Media Award. This year, his project that focuses the subject of people with disabilities and war has won in the category “breaking waves – regional”. Till Mayer has always donated his prize money and thus has already contributed the biggest part of this year’s prize to help earthquake victims in Nepal.
